A Findlay man escaped injury in a crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Wyandot County.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, 71 year old Earnest Davis apparently blacked out while driving west in the 1300 block of State Highway 568.

The pickup, which was pulling a trailer, went off the left side of the road where it struck a sign and a utility pole. It continued into a yard where it struck and entered into a garage. The vehicle also struck a parked car and caused minor damage to a house and landscape on two properties before coming to rest.

Davis was cited for failure to control.
