Driver Escapes Serious Injury in Tuesday Morning Crash

A Roundhead woman escaped serious injury in a one vehicle rollover crash that occurred Tuesday morning on County Road 65 at McDonald Township Road 210.

 

According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Heather Badertscher lost control of her vehicle while travelling north on 65.

 

The driver overcorrected when the vehicle went off the right side of the road and ended up off the left side where it overturned twice before coming to rest on its wheels.

 

Badertscher was transported to a local hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.

 

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Roundhead EMS, BMRT Rescue Squad, Richland Township Fire Department and Osborne’s Towning.

 

The crash remains under investigation and citations are pending.
