Elida Community Mourns Loss of Student

The Elida community is mourning the loss the of Elida Middle School student Nathanial Burgess, who recently completed his sixth-grade year.

In a statement, the school district expressed its condolences and asked the community to keep Nathanial’s family, friends and loved ones in their prayers during this difficult time.

School officials said information regarding crisis counseling services and funeral arrangements will be shared when it becomes available.
