Elida Couple Donates Flag to ACSO
An Elida couple donated a giant U.S. flag to the Allen County Sheriff’s Office.
AJ and Janet Theuer presented the 9 foot by 17 foot flag yesterday.
It took nearly 4 people to unfold it and took up nearly the entire conference room at the sheriff’s office.
This flag has flown at the NATO Compound in Norfolk, Virginia in the mid-1980s and has been used in several US Navy retirements.
It will now be displayed at various Allen County Sheriff’s Office events.
AJ Theuer retired from the Navy in 1993 after 26 years of service.
