Elwood Motorsports Sweeps Opening Round of 2026 ProAm Series at MCC Cincinnati
The Forest-based Elwood Motorsports Team headed south to the Motorsports Country Club in Cincinnati for the opening round of the 2026 ProAm series this past weekend. Alan Elwood, driver of the Performance Powder Coating Quest Federal Credit Union number 5 cruised to a sweep at the beautiful MCC circuit.
Elwood set fast time in qualifying, then cruised to a commanding win in the pre-final. Alan started on the pole for the final and was not challenged as he set fast lap and dominated in the opening round win.
The Elwoods will head back to MCC this weekend for rounds two and three in the ProAm series before heading to NCMP in Indiana for their first National Series race since 2017.
The ProAm series events will continue on May 1-3, July 3-5, Aug 14-16, Sept 4-5, Oct 2-3 and Oct 23-25.
The Elwoods are also competing in the APEX Midwest Karting Championship, which is a National Touring Series, and those events are at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana on May 15-17, June 19-21 at G&J Kart way in Camden, Ohio and Aug 21-23 at Quaker Motorsports Park in Salem, Ohio.
