Fair Week Begins Today in Hardin County
The Hardin County Fair officially gets underway today, kicking off six days of food, entertainment, livestock shows, rides and longtime community traditions.
General fair hours begin with the gates opening at 7:30 a.m. Exhibit buildings open at 9 a.m., while rides begin operating at noon.
Exhibit buildings will remain open until 9 p.m., with rides continuing until 10 p.m.
Admission is $10 at the gate.
Fair officials also announced a time change both nights of harness racing in the Grandstands.
Tomorrow, September 9th and Thursday, September 10th, racing will begin at 5:00 p.m. both nights.
Throughout the week, fairgoers can enjoy a variety of activities, including livestock shows, grandstand entertainment, carnival rides, food vendors and exhibits featuring the work of local 4-H members and other exhibitors.
