Fatal Crash Near Mt. Victory Under Investigation
One person was killed and another seriously injured in a crash that occurred early this morning near Mt. Victory.
According to a release from Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, deputies received a 9-1-1 call at around 3:30 this morning about a one vehicle crash on County Road 245.
When deputies arrived, a female identified as Martisol Lucila Aquirre-Murillo, was found deceased at the scene. A male, identified as Jorge Orellana, was taken by Lifeflight Helicopter to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
The Multi-County Crash Team is still investigating the crash.
The Hardin County Coroner’s Office, Southeast Hardin Northwest Union County Fire Department, BKP Ambulance, Lifeflight and Minnichs Towing all assisted at the scene.
