Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Under Investigation in Wood County

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Bowling Green Post is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on April 4, 2026, at approximately 4:49 p.m. at the intersection of Five Point Road and Lime City Road.

A 2018 Ford four door driven by Brooke Tabbert, 30, of Oak Harbor, was traveling eastbound on Five Point Road and failed to yield at the stop sign at Five Point Road and Lime City Road. A 2016 Ford SUV driven by Clemente Vallestero, 29, of Perrysburg, was traveling southbound on Lime City Road and struck Ms. Tabbert’s vehicle. Both vehicles traveled off the southeast corner of the intersection, striking a utility pole.

Ms. Tabbert was transported by Perrysburg EMS to St. Vincent’s Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Her infant child was also transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital with minor injuries. Mr. Vallestero sustained minor injuries and was not transported.

Assisting on scene was Perrysburg Township Police Department, Perrysburg Township Fire Department, Bubba’s Towing, and Wright’s Towing.
