It was the end of an era for the old Kindergarten through 12 grade school building in the village of Arlington.
Final public walkthroughs were held Saturday and Sunday to allow residents an opportunity to walk the halls one last time before demolition begins soon.
Also, the Class of 2026 became the final class to participate in a graduation ceremony in the building.
The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission approved nearly 16 million dollars in state funding, and residents of the district overwhelmingly passed a bond issue in the November 2022 election, to pay for the construction of an all new facilty, which is scheduled to open for the 2026/27 school year.
