Girl Scout Troop 20042 of Findlay is collecting new books with the hopes of providing one age-appropriate book for every Findlay City School elementary student, kindergarten through fifth grade.

This is approximately 2,350 books. This project is allowing the Girl Scouts in this troop work toward receiving their Bronze Award. The troop chose this project because they have learned that many students in the district have few to no books in the house.

Books will be accepted at Coffee Amici in Findlay until this Thursday, May 2 during regular business hours.
