Findlay Police Department Swears In New Officer

The Findlay Police Department announced the hiring of Officer Amanda Gilroy, who was sworn in Monday morning by Mayor Christina Muryn.

Officer Gilroy, 24, is a graduate from Spencerville High School and holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Rhodes State College. 

Prior to joining the Findlay Police Department, she served as a deputy with the Allen County Sheriff’s Office for two and a half years.

Officer Gilroy will be assigned to the department’s Patrol Division.
