Forest Based Elwood Motorsports 5E Driver Finishes Second at Cincinnati Go-Kart Race

Alan Elwood of Columbus grabbed the runner-up position this week at the Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati go-karts race. 

Driving  for the Forest based Elwood Motorsports 5E, Elwood took the green flag in the Pre-final from fourth and battled his way to a second place finish. 

The final race saw Elwood slip back to third then the top three broke away and four laps in Elwood grabbed the lead and he would ride there until the last turn of the final lap where a lapped kart blocked his momentum causing a photo finish and Elwood finished in second. 

Elwood will be back in action this Sunday at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana.
