Forest Police Department to Host Bicycle Registration Event

The Village of Forest Police Department will be hosting a bicycle registration event on Saturday, September 5 from noon until 3:00 pm at the rear of the police department, located at 211 Wet Lima Street in Forest. 

This event will allow residents to register their bicycles, scooters, or e-bikes with the police department to assist in recovering the item should it be stolen or returning it should it be found unattended or abandoned.

There is no cost for the registration. 

Each bicycle, scooter, or e-bike must be present at the time of the registration so that it can be assigned a specific tag number that will correspond with the owner’s information.

Tags may also be acquired after September 5 by making an appointment with the police department Monday through Friday.
