Former HN Band Instructor Sentenced

A former Hardin Northern band instructor was sentenced today in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

Cody Switzer was placed on five years community control with condition on two counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance and one count of falsification.

As part of the sentence, he must serve 90 days local incarceration.

He was also classified as a Tier I Sex Offender.

Switzer was indicted in April of this year on five counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance and one count each of falsification and tampering with evidence.

The case was heard by Judge Steve Christopher.
