Four people escaped serious injury in a two vehicle crash that occurred this past Sunday afternoon in Wyandot County.

According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, 33 year old Mohammed Alo, of Toledo, lost control of his car while driving north on US 23. A vehicle behind him, being operated by 25 year old Karie Byrge, of Indiana, attempted to avoid a collision and travelled off the left side of the road.

Byrge’s car rolled onto its driver’s side after striking the Alo vehicle as both ended up off the roadway.

Byrge and three passengers in her car, including 3 and 5 year old children, were transported to Wyandot Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Alo, who was cited for failure to control, and a passenger in his car were not injured.
