Attendance Wednesday at the Hardin County Fair was way up compared to 2018 figures.

On a very nice day yesterday, the paid gate was 1200, compared to 879 last year when the weather was very hot and the threat of rain persisted throughout the day.

KOI Drag Racing attracted 610 spectators to the Grandstand Wednesday, compared to 379 that attended the Tug A Truck event in 2018.

The total estimated attendance for day 2 of the 2019 fair was 6720. Last year, that figure was 4922.

Harness Racing is featured in the Grandstand today.

Afternoon races start at 1 and evening races begin at 6.

The Hardin County Fair runs through Sunday.
