Grinding and paving for two streets in Kenton are scheduled for next week, weather permitting.

Henry Street, between Franklin and Decatur, and Ohio Street, from Market to Detroit and Main and Pioneer Park, will be closed August 28 and 29 for grinding.

They will then be closed August 30 and 31 for paving.

The work will begin at 7:30am and all vehicles must be removed or they will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Another section of Ohio Street, between Detroit and Main will be done later as part of Phase I of the Downtown Revitalization Project.

That section will be dug up to replace the water line.
