Hancock County Crash Injures Bluffton Man

A Bluffton man was injured in a crash that occurred over the weekend in Hancock County.

 

According to the report from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, 55 year old Mark Jones was driving north on State Route 235 and stopped to turn left onto State Route 103.

 

His car was struck by an eastbound car being operated by 37 year old Lisa Schekelhoff, of Bluffton, who ran the stop sign on 103 at 235.

 

Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.

 

Jones was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of injuries.

 

Scheckelhoff was cited for failure to yield.
