Hardin County Astronomy Club to Discuss Perseid Meteor Shower Watch Party on Public Eye
The Hardin County Astronomy Club is holding a Perseid Meteor Shower watch party on Friday, August 14.
Club secretary David Humphreys said it will start at 8:30 that evening, “The event is being held at Idlewild Lake, 9627 US 68 north of Kenton. This is south of the Hi-Road Drive-In, between County Roads 100 and 110. The public is reminded to bring a mosquito repellant, a blanket or chair to sit on, and a drink or snack if desired. No special equipment is needed to watch for meteors.”
