Hardin County Average Gas Price Up Only 2 Cents From Last Week

Despite an increase in the state gasoline tax, the average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County was up only 2 cents from last week.

 

AAA reported that the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas is $2.50, compared to $2.48 last Monday.

 

That is the cheapest price in the region.

 

The most expensive price is in Union County at $2.68 a gallon.

 

The state gasoline tax increased 10.5 cents a gallon starting today.

 

The statewide average per gallon is at $2.64 and the national average is $2.71 a gallon.
