Gormley Park in Forest was featured in the latest Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance Tourism Spotlight.
The park offers a variety of recreational activities, including playground equipment, a splash pad, a storybook walk, softball/baseball fields, tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, and a picturesque stocked pond.
There are also three pavilion buildings that can be rented for special occasions such as family reunions and birthday parties.
The park is also home to the famous Jackson-Forest Fire Department’s annual Tree Town Festival held every July.
It is located along Mary Street on the east side of Forest.
