Hardin County Citizens Sheriff’s Academy Set for September 24-November 5

The 2026 Hardin County Citizens Sheriff’s Academy will be held on consecutive Thursdays beginning September 24 and continuing through November 5.

Each session will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, located at 1025 South Main Street in Kenton.

The Citizens Sheriff’s Academy offers an informative, behind-the-scenes look at the operations, responsibilities, and services of the Sheriff’s Office.

Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office, and they must be completed and returned with a $25 non-refundable fee by Thursday September 17. 

Applicants must be Hardin County residents 18 years of age, post high school, or older.
