Michael P. Kasler, Republican candidate for Hardin County Commissioner, shared lunch and his platform with Kenton Rotary at a recent meeting.
The principles of his 2 tiered platform are based on his proven leadership and financial responsibility. His leadership comes from a 25 year career (retired) in the Ohio Highway Patrol. Mr. Kasler is currently the Zoning Officer for Buck, Pleasant and Hale Townships in Hardin County which has brought him extensive experience dealing with large commercial companies trying to bring renewal energy into our county.
He has 3 time been elected to the State of Ohio Retirement System and helps oversee $1.2 billion in pension and health care funds. He is a defender of individual property rights, equality and believes everyone is entitled to live their lives peacefully and without interference from large government.
Mike received his law degree from Ohio Northern University. He has been married for 34 years and resides on the family farm in Dudley and Hale Townships. He reminds everyone that the primary election day is May 5th.
