Hardin County Community Foundation to Award Over $150,000 in Grants
The Hardin County Community Foundation approved grants totaling $157,698.
166 applications were received requested funds. Of those, 137 grants were approved along with 5 scholarships.
As of March, the Foundation reported its portfolio was valued at just under 6.9 million dollars.
Only interest earned on the principal is used for grants.
The Foundation will hold an annual Grant Celebration to award the grants.
The ceremony will start at 4:30pm on Thursday May 16 at the Armory in Kenton.
