Ashley Sumner’s class is participating in Dr. Seuss Week, in honor of the children’s book author.
Theodor Seuss Geisel was born on March 2nd, 1902.
Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart read to students on Monday to help celebrate reading.
Kenton Elementary School is celebrating the joy of reading this week, March 2–6, in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday and Read Across America Week. Students will enjoy a week full of Seuss-themed activities designed to spark a love of reading.
The celebration will include special guest read-alouds, creative crafts, and hands-on learning experiences, giving children the chance to explore and engage with beloved stories.
The school will also be having daily dress up days throughout the week.
