The 3E initiative’s fast-paced mock interview series is wrapping up another successful season in Hardin County. Following events at Ada, Ridgemont, and Upper Scioto Valley earlier this year, Kenton High School students completed their sessions last week.

Modeled after a “speed dating” format, the event connects students with dozens of local business volunteers for rapid-fire, one-on-one interviews. This practical training is vital for all students—whether they are headed for the workforce, the military, or college. Local employers provided real-time evaluations and personalized feedback, encouraging students to lead with confidence and embrace their unique strengths.

Organized by the Midwest Regional ESC’s Youth Development program, these events serve as a critical bridge between local schools and the business community, helping employers meet their future workforce face-to-face.
