Hardin Northern welcomed back students for the first day of school Wednesday.

For the second year in a row, Hardin Northern introduced their students to a conference style on day one.

Grades 7-12 attended a catered lunch, highlighted by University of Findlay professor and Hardin County resident, Jim Taylor, who served as the keynote speaker.

Students then attended six different breakout sessions focusing on student mentoring, academic structure, growth mindset, student participation, school spirit and a survey focusing on personal GRIT.

An assembly consisted of each grade level putting together a class performance for the rest of the school.
