Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District Still Taking Orders for Annual Pond Fish Sale

The Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District is taking orders for its annual pond fish sale.

The following species are available at various sizes: Bluegill, Hybrid Bluegill, Redear Shellcracker, Black Crappie, Channel Catfish, Jumbo Yellow Perch, Largemouth Bass, White Amur, Black Fathead Minnow, and Koi.

They are also offering Pond Sludge Remover and Pond Bacteria Packs.

The deadline for orders is Friday, April 24, 2026. All orders must be picked up at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, May 1st at the Hardin SWCD office.

There will be no need to bring water or containers. The fish will be coming from Remlinger Fish Farm out of Kalida Ohio. Remlinger’s will already have the fish placed into boxes, sealed with oxygen and packaged into labeled boxes prior to the pickup time. Hardin SWCD staff will be providing assistance to customers at the time of pickup.
