Harrod Woman Injured in Downtown Kenton Crash
A Harrod woman was injured in a crash that occurred just after 4 Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Kenton Police Department report, 20 year old Alexandra Marcus was driving west on Columbus Street and failed to stop in time to avoid crashing into the rear of a car being driven by 71 year old Otis Colbert, of Forest, who was slowing down for a red light at North Wayne Street.
Disabling damage occurred to the Marcus vehicle, and light damage occurred to Colbert’s vehicle.
Marcus was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries, and she was cited for an assured clear distance ahead violation.
