Increased Number of Thefts from Vehicles Reported in Lima

The Lima Police Department has been experiencing an increased number of thefts from vehicles lately. 

The department reminded residents to remove the keys from their vehicle and lock the doors.

They should also hide items of value, or remove them from the vehicle.

Officials say following those simple tips will help prevent you from becoming a victim.

Residents are also encouraged to call 9-1-1 if they see suspicious activity.
