Kenton City Council will take care of a light agenda during this evening’s meeting.

One new item will be on first reading under new business.

That is an ordinance to change zoning for property owned by the Hardin County Commissioners located at 950 Kohler Street from R-1, one and two family residence district to B1, neighborhood business district.

There are two carry-over items under old business.

They are an ordinance vacating an alley and another one to authorize the safety service director to advertise for bids for rock salt for the public works department.

Both will be on second reading.

The 11th regular session of the year will start at 7 this evening in the Kenton City Building.
