Kenton City Schools Food Service Director Regina Comstock announced the 2026 Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer program.

Summer EBT helps households buy food during the summer when school is out, and you do not need to apply.

If your child has been eligible for Free or Reduced meals during this 2026 school year, they are automatically eligible.

You will receive $120 for each eligible child in the household either on your Ohio Direction card, on last year’s Summer EBT card or a newly distributed benefit card in the mail.

You can use the money to buy food during the summer at grocery stores, farmers markets, and other approved retailers.
