Two Kenton High School students participated in the Sub-District Public Speaking contest at Ben Logan High School this past Wednesday evening.

Allison Woodard participated in the Creed Speaking portion and placed 6th in her division.

This contest has students memorize the FFA and present it to a panel of judges.

Meredith Donnelly participated in the Extemporaneous Speaking portion and placed 4th in her division.

This contest has students pick a speech topic then research information about that topic in 30 minutes; finally, they have to present that information to a panel of judges in 4 to 6 minutes.

KCS officials stated they are proud of Allison and Meredith for giving this contest a go and trying something new.
