The Kenton Police Department has seen an increase in vehicle break-ins and stolen vehicles in the area.

Officers encourage residents to take a few simple precautions, such as locking your vehicles, removing valuables or keep them out of sight, do not leave keys or key fobs inside, and parking in well-lit areas when possible

Residents are also encouraged to report any suspicious activity that they see.
