Kenton Resident Victim of Social Security Fraud

The social security number of a Kenton resident was used in a fraudulent manner.

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, the mother of the 19 year old victim told officers the incident was discovered on a credit report when her son applied for residency at a local apartment complex.

The victim is attempting to obtain further information as to the extent of the fraudulent activity.

The incident remains under investigation.
