Kenton Woman Victim of Scam

A Kenton woman reported being the victim of a scam.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, a woman in the 300 block of North Barron Street told officers the scam involved a $20,000 cashier’s check, just $20,000 in Bitcoin and 2 iphones and an apple watch with a total value of $2700.

 

An investigation was started by the Kenton Police Department.
