Some Kenton Elementary School students were tasked with creating signs designed to encourage the crew working on the downtown Kenton reconstruction project.

The idea came about during a conversation between the Morning Buzz team’s Chad and Jenny on WKTN.

Third, fourth and fifth grade students in Mrs. Cox class came through in flying colors.

The signs were hung in the windows of Huntington Bank and WKTN overlooking Columbus and Detroit Streets where the HSX Excavating crew is working.

They quickly caught the attention of the workers, and they expressed their gratitude to the students.
