
Kenton Middle School will participate in a student-designed day called Choose Hope on Tuesday May 21.
This is a field day of activities that starts and ends with a ceremony to honor loved ones who have battled or are battling cancer.
To participate in activities, students can purchase different levels of wristbands or be sponsored for a wristband.
The cost is $5 for phones, $15 for large games and $20 for phones and all games.
Additionally, the National Junior Honor Society has been selling ribbons to be hung on the fence at the track.
Students can purchase a ribbon for $1 in honor or memory of someone who has fought, is fighting or has won their battle with cancer.
Cancer fighters and survivors and their loved ones are invited to attend the Opening Ceremony and Hope Lap around the track on May 21st at approximately 8:30am.
All proceeds go to Not By Choice of Hardin County.
