Leighton Street Bridge in Kenton Closed Due to Safety Concerns
Leighton Street Bridge in Kenton was closed today due to safety concerns.
According to information from the City of Kenton Government Facebook page, based on recent bridge inspection findings and consultation with the Ohio Department of Transportation, the decision to close the bridge was made.
It will remain closed until necessary repairs can be completed to ensure everyone’s safety.
City officials are asking that motorists plan alternate routes.
