Man Arrested After Shots Fired During Domestic Situation in Harrod

A man was arrested after shots were fired at a domestic violence situation near Harrod in Allen County Wednesday night.

According to a release from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at around 9:10pm to a residence in the 8700 block of Lafayette Road in Harrod to investigate.

When deputies arrived on scene, a perimeter was quickly established and commands given for the subject to exit the residence.

23-year-old Spencer Coon exited the residence without incident, and was taken into custody.

He is being held at the Allen County Jail on charges of domestic violence, abduction, and a probation violation.

The victim sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

This investigation is still ongoing.
