A Findlay man was arrested following a pursuit in Findlay Wednesday morning.
According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to Family Resource Center located at 2515 North Main Street in reference to a male driving through the yard and threatening to harm employees.
The man fled in the car when officers arrived, and a pursuit was initiated that went through a school zone at Glenwood.
The driver went left of center and through a red light at Trenton Avenue and then westbound onto Frazer Street.
The male drove at speeds near 60 mph as he went through the school zone for the University of Findlay.
The pursuit ended when the man drove over the curb and into a residential yard in the 600 block of Frazer Street.
52 year old David D. Luth was taken into custody and turned over to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant through Probate Court.
He was incarcerated in the Hancock County Justice Center on the felony Fleeing and Eluding charge until he could be transferred to a Psychiatric Hospital for further evaluation.
No one was injured during the initial call or the pursuit, which covered 1.8 miles.
