Man Wanted in Connection to Michigan Homicide Investigation Arrested in Bluffton
A man wanted by the Detroit Police Department in connection to a homicide investigation was arrested in Bluffton Thursday evening.
According to a release from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, the Bluffton Police Department requested assistance to make the apprehension.
Investigators discoverd that the suspect, identified as Eugene Jerome Lemons, was at the Fairway Inn on State Route 103.
Deputies and police officers from Bluffton arrested Lemons without incident.
A search warrant was obtained to connduct a search of the hotel room, which resulted in the seizure of two high power rifles and ammunition.
The investigation is ongoing.
