The statewide tornado siren test in Marion County Wednesday had mixed results according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
It was reported that many of the sirens in the county went off without a problem.
However, there were a few that did not go off as planned due to a programming issue.
The sirens can be set off individually but some don’t go off when set off as a group.
The issue is being corrected, and the county will re-test all of the sirens when the problem is fixed.
