Marion Crash Sends Two to Hospital, Driver Cited
Two people were injured in a crash that occurred in Marion Saturday afternoon.
According to the Marion Police Department report, 68-year-old Glenda Dodds was driving east on Mt. Vernon Avenue when a westbound vehicle being driven by 59-year-old Christopher Riedel, of Tiffin, attempted to turn left onto Forest Lawn Boulevard.
The resulting collision caused disabling damage to both vehicles.
Dodds and a passenger in her car were both transported to Marion General Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Riedel was cited for failure to yield.
