A search warrant was executed in Marion on Monday, which resulted in the arrest of a Marion man.
According to a release, the Marion Metro Drug Enforcement Unit assisted the Marion Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office as the warrant was served at a residence in the 100 block of Sargent Street in Marion.
During a search, detectives located 60 grams of heroin, $600 in cash and a loaded handgun. The street value of the drugs is estimated at nearly $11,000.
37 year old Ryan Stevens was arrested on charges of weapons under disability and possession of heroin. He is currently being held in the Marion County Jail.
The investigation began two months.
