Marion Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Raping 4 Year Old Girl
A sex offender in Marion was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for raping a four year old girl in December of 2018.
The Marion Star reported that 41 year old Steven C. Hardin was given the maximum sentence by Marion County Common Pleas Court Judge Warren Edwards.
Hardin was dating the girls babysitter at the time. He was caught when the victim’s mother walked in and caught him performing a sex act on her daughter.
Hardin pleaded guilty to two counts of rape last week. As part of plea agreement, a third count was dismissed.
