New Knoxville Driver Unharmed After Turkey Smashes Windshield on Elida Road

A New Knoxville woman had a scary moment Monday afternoon while driving on Elida Road in Allen County.

According to the report from the American Township Police Department, 28-year-old Samantha Wehe was driving west on Elida Road when a turkey flew into her path and struck her windshield.

The impact caused the windshield to shatter and the interior trim to come loose, which made the vehicle inoperable.

Wehe was not injured.
