A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Hardin and all of our surrounding counties with the exception of Allen.
Snow is forcecast to start Saturday afternoon, but the bulk of the snow will fall Saturday night through Sunday night.
For Auglaize, Hardin and Logan Counties, the Wilmington National Weather Service office says we could get a total of 4 to 7 inches.
5 to 9 inches of snow is forecast for Union County by the Wilimington office.
The Cleveland National Weather Service indicates in excess of 6 inches of snow could fall in Hancock, Marion and Wyandot Counties.
Allen County, through the Northern Indiana office, is predicted to get 2 to 4 inches of snow, and no Winter Weather Watch is in effect at this time.
Travel could be very difficult.
Residents are encouraged to prepare for hazardous winter weather conditions and continue to monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.
