
All occupants of the two vehicles involved in a crash that occurred at just after 3 Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Main at Lynn Streets in Kenton were checked at the scene for possible injuries, but they were not transported.
According to the Kenton Police Department report, the crash occurred when 78-year-old Alice Steed, of Kenton, drove onto Main from a stop sign on Lynn, and her vehicle was struck by a southbound car being driven by 23-year-old Jennifer Miller, of rural Kenton.
Disabling damage occurred to both vehicles.
Passengers included a 1-year-old child in Miller’s vehicle, and a 17-year-old girl in Steed’s.
Steed was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign.
The Kenton Police Department released information on a one vehicle crash that occurred at just before 8 this past Wednesday morning.
According to the report, 54-year-old Dawn Murphy, of Kenton, drove left of center while traveling north on Broadway Street, and her car struck a parked vehicle resulting in disabling damage to both.
Murphy was not injured.
According to information on the police department’s Daily Log Sheet, Murphy was arrested for operating a vehicle intoxicated, and she was cited for a reasonable control violation.
