Open Auditions Announced for Holy Mother of Bingo! at Marion Palace Theatre

Marion, OH – The Marion Palace Theatre is excited to announce open auditions for the upcoming Production of Holy Mother of Bingo!, a wildly funny, interactive murder mystery directed by Elizabeth Moore. Packed with outrageous characters, real bingo games, and unexpected twists, this unique theatrical experience puts the audience at the center of the action. Performances are scheduled for April 24–26, 2026 in the May Pavilion.

Director Elizabeth Moore invites individuals ages 15 and up to audition on Saturday, March 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Auditions will take place in the May Pavilion, located adjacent to the historic Marion Palace Theatre.

Audition Requirements:

  • Prepare a 1-minute memorized monologue.
  • Be prepared to read selected scenes from the script.
  • No singing or dance required.

This laugh-out-loud production features a cast of quirky characters including choir directors, ex-cons, magicians-turned-ministers, and cookie-selling cadets—all caught up in a killer mystery that unfolds during a church bingo night gone terribly wrong. It’s the perfect opportunity for energetic, expressive performers who enjoy comedy, improv, and breaking the fourth wall.
